The Journey Continues....

It's second grading again and still the journey of TLE ICT subject continues. Many more will be discovered and learned.I have gained many learnings from our second grading in TLE ICT. We learned how to work on notepad. We also learned how to post and make blogs. We tried to make comments on others' blogs. We made exercises on notepad on how to make words in bold, italicized, in different font size, font style and font color. We also made colored backgrounds and backgrounds with pictures. We tried to make calendar in notepad. We also gained many other learnings in our TLE subject.

As we proceed to our other activities, I encountered some problems. There are times that I can't understand the instructions so I kept repeating. And the other nstructions are not also clear. I did not have any problems aside from these.

To overcome these problems, I'll try to read the instructions well next time and ask the help of our teacher if there is something I can't understand.

"My Teacher, My Hero"

The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.

Doctors, nurses, engineers, dentists, accountants and scientists are some of the fast- earning professionals. But they will not finish their degrees without their teachers. What we know and what we have now is because of our teachers. There are teachers who touched our lives.

I had a teacher when I was in elementary who enlightened my mind. She is my favorite teacher. Mrs. Osalvo changed me a lot. At first, I was not determined to be in the honor role but she enlightened my mind. Because of her my mind was awaken. She was not only a good teacher to me and my fellow pupils but also a loving and understanding mother to us even though she was only our subject teacher. Before, Mathematics is my water loo but when she became our teacher in mathematics, it became my favorite subject. Through her learnings, my skills were developed. And the result of my determinations made my parents proud of me. My teacher believed in my abilities. Before, I was a constant awardee but when I was in the fourth grade, I failed. In my fifth grade, I received awards but I failed to have an honor. But I succeeded during my sixth grade. That is why until now, she is still my inspiration to succeed because I know and I believe in my own abilities that I can do more. Thanks to my teacher for What I have now. She is really a hero for me.

A teacher's purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop students who can create their own image.

Past Innovations:Basis of New Inventions

--- An invention is essentially just a good idea that serves a purpose. The only goal an invention has to accomplish is solving some kind of problem. Whether it’s making it easier for wheelchair-bound individuals to get around, or the scientific discovery of a new medical vaccine, every invention fits into its own significant role in society.

Filipino Language from Baler to the Entire Nation

--Each country has its own language. If the united states has English language, we also have ours, the filipino language.

--We are neglecting our own language due to growing civilization. We even enhance foreign language at schools. So our former president Manuel L. Quezon launched a revolt to use the filipino language in our country, because of that he was entitled as "Ama ng Pambansang Wika". his aim is to develop further our language. He also advised that before using any foriegn language we should master first our own language. "Ang taong hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa malansang isda" Dr. Jose Rizal is trying to is say we should be proud of our language.

LeArNiNgS & DiScOvErIeS w/ cErTaiN ChaLLeNgEs

I'm on my fourth year in high school and what I know and learned in the past years are not yet enough. Now that I'm on my last year in high school, I hope to learn and discover more things. In the first quarter, I learned about the history of the Internet, the uses of the Internet, search engines and advantages of blogs to students. I also discovered on how to make my own blog and to belong to a yahoo group.

At first, I didn't know what I'm going to do and how should I do on that certain thing. I didn't know before if how do I make my own blog and others. Sometimes, I can't do our activities on time. I find it hard to memorize the history of the Internet before. And the biggest problem is I can't manage my time well in doing such activities.

I surpassed these challenges by helping myself to understand more our lessons. I scheduled my time in doing activities. I become more patient to review well our lessons and managed well my time and avoid cramming of our activities.

Moving on, I will be more patient, work harder in making such activities.

SpEaKiNg: WaY oF ComMuNiCaTiOn

There are many languages that people are using in communicating to other people in different places. It's difficult to communicate to others if we can't understand one another.

English language is our universal language and it is used all over the world while here in the Philippines, our national language is Filipino. It is important to have a good communication. What you're saying might be misunderstood by others. It might have another meaning for him/her. Speaking is a bridge to have a good communication not in the Philippines but all over the world. Speaking is a way of communicating to others. Nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and others are used to improve our grammar. Practice speaking either in English or Filipino to become a fluent speaker of these languages.

Be a fluent speaker of Filipino and English languages to have a good communication to others to have a globally competitive country.

"Health is Wealth."

Why is our health considered to be our wealth? Why do we need to be healthy? A person who is unhealthy can easily catch diseases. To be able to become healthy, we need to have proper nutrition. We need to have balanced diet, proper hygiene and regular exercise. Even though we have plenty of money if we are unhealthy and have many diseases, are richness is useless. Our money will be spent in having medications and buying for our medicines. So what's the use of being rich if we're unhealthy? Instead of spending your money for your medicines, you can use your money for your other needs like food, clothing, shelter and others.

Personal hygiene, avoidance of vices, regular exercise, enough rest and proper nutrition are the best ways to stay in good health. So we need to live our life to the fullest. Let's maintain our good health to enjoy more our life and to avoid diseases.

Our school wanted to encourage students to have proper nutrition and to avoid having lifestyle diseases that is why we celebrated the nutrition month this July. We had many activities like food festival, nutrition quiz, cook festival and others. We students are still young so we should be healthy by having proper nutrition.

Treasure our health. Maintain our good health. Have a proper nutrition and enjoy life. If you want to have longer lifespan, have your proper nutrition.
