"My Dream, My Future"

When a dream takes hold of you, what can you do? You can run with it, let it run you life or let it go and think for the rest of you life about what might have been.

All of us have dreams in life that will motivate us for our future life. Before your dreams can come true, you have to have your dreams. Some say that they are just but dreams and hard to come true. Dreams come in a size too big so that we may grow into them. A dream is your creative vision for you life in the future. A goal is what specifically you intend to make happen. Dreams and goals should be just out of your present reach but not out of sight. Dreams and goals are coming attractions in your life. Make your dreams a goal in your life. A goal that you need to achieve.

Our dreams help us be inspired to be able to succeed in the future. If we continue our dreams and follow the will of our heart, we will be able to see a fruitful result.

To dream anything that you want to dream. That's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.

Change: It Starts With Me

As we grow up, there is always something that changes in us. Our growth is always associated with changes. So in just a snap of a finger, everything can change.

Now that I’m continuously growing up, I have already encountered many changes. Changes not only in myself but also in our environment. Specifically speaking, in our own community. Our environment is getting worst. And people are the only one who can do something to change it. It is in our own hands. We are the only one who can do something to improve it.

We should always remember this quotation: “ God always forgives, man sometimes forgives but nature never forgives.” So we should take good care of our nature. Let’s not wait mother nature to take revenge. Even in our own house and even in our own community, we can start that change. Let’s stop destroying our nature rather clean it. In that way we can save mother earth.

Change starts in our selves. Change those bad attitudes. Make changes in our community even in our own simple deeds.

Interesting Topic....

Almost eight months had passed. And there are a lot of new learnings gained again this third grading period. But what are those lessons encountered this grading period? One of the most interesting lessons is the web designing using the Microsoft Frontpage. I really learned a lot about web designing through the help of Frontpage.

With the use of this application, we can make designs on the web rather than using notepad and others. Besides of the new discoveries about the web, I also find difficulties in doing the web design in our workstation. I knew that to be able to make an extraordinary web design, you should have enough knowledge about the Microsoft Frontpage application, on how to work on it and how to use it.

To overcome these difficulties or problems, I asked the help of my other classmates who are knowledgeable about Frontpage. I also asked the assistance of out TLE teacher. Thanks for their time and I’ve solved my dilemmas.

Moving on, I’ll try to be confident to ask questions on what I don’t know and feel free to be taught on how to use and manipulate things.

Kites are like Dreams

Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, or a new country.

This is what I’ve perceived in my mind as I watch the kite flying contest in our school. I was amazed with those beautiful and amazing designs of those kites. Those kite flyers are great and really artistic. As I observe that kite flying, I remember my dreams. Very big dreams that I know I can’t ever reach.

There are also some who failed to let their kites fly a greater height. They failed to reach their aim to have their kite fly a great height. It is because they are afraid to go with the wind that is why their kites fell. I can relate this kite flying in my dreams. Your dreams will be put into trash when you are afraid to face and overcome it.

You can't fly a kite unless you go against the wind and have a weight to keep it from turning a somersault. The same with man. No man will succeed unless he is ready to face and overcome difficulties and is prepared to assume responsibilities.

Christmas Season

I observed that cold breeze of the air and long nights. These are some of the signs that Christmas season is near.

We put on lights and Christmas trees and hang lanterns in our own house. These are some of the preparations that we are doing when Christmas season is arriving. But what is Christmas? Why are we celebrating Christmas? Christmas is the time when Christ, our savior, was born. We are celebrating this peek season in honor for the birth of our redeemer. For me, Christmas season is the time when we set aside things. It is the time to relax, enjoy and be happy because it is an important season. A season where in we forgive those people who had hurt our feelings and forget those bad memories. We should clean those burdens in our hearts.

It’s time to be happy. So we should enjoy the food we prepare in our tables, share it with our family and at the same time have bonding with or family. Enjoy this Christmas season!!! And don’t forget to thank God!

The Journey Continues....

It's second grading again and still the journey of TLE ICT subject continues. Many more will be discovered and learned.I have gained many learnings from our second grading in TLE ICT. We learned how to work on notepad. We also learned how to post and make blogs. We tried to make comments on others' blogs. We made exercises on notepad on how to make words in bold, italicized, in different font size, font style and font color. We also made colored backgrounds and backgrounds with pictures. We tried to make calendar in notepad. We also gained many other learnings in our TLE subject.

As we proceed to our other activities, I encountered some problems. There are times that I can't understand the instructions so I kept repeating. And the other nstructions are not also clear. I did not have any problems aside from these.

To overcome these problems, I'll try to read the instructions well next time and ask the help of our teacher if there is something I can't understand.

"My Teacher, My Hero"

The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.

Doctors, nurses, engineers, dentists, accountants and scientists are some of the fast- earning professionals. But they will not finish their degrees without their teachers. What we know and what we have now is because of our teachers. There are teachers who touched our lives.

I had a teacher when I was in elementary who enlightened my mind. She is my favorite teacher. Mrs. Osalvo changed me a lot. At first, I was not determined to be in the honor role but she enlightened my mind. Because of her my mind was awaken. She was not only a good teacher to me and my fellow pupils but also a loving and understanding mother to us even though she was only our subject teacher. Before, Mathematics is my water loo but when she became our teacher in mathematics, it became my favorite subject. Through her learnings, my skills were developed. And the result of my determinations made my parents proud of me. My teacher believed in my abilities. Before, I was a constant awardee but when I was in the fourth grade, I failed. In my fifth grade, I received awards but I failed to have an honor. But I succeeded during my sixth grade. That is why until now, she is still my inspiration to succeed because I know and I believe in my own abilities that I can do more. Thanks to my teacher for What I have now. She is really a hero for me.

A teacher's purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop students who can create their own image.
